Professional Dance Instruction for Dancers of All Backgrounds

About Greater Heights School of Dance

Our
Mission

Our Mission is to provide dancers of all backgrounds with the opportunity to participate in professional dance instruction in an open, safe, and supportive environment. We believe that dance inspires self-confidence, discipline and respect of the performing arts. It is our goal to create a foundation within our dancers that allows them to work on themselves from the inside out—and believe that it's important that our dancers not only learn the art of dance within our studio walls, but also valuable life lessons that will carry them through life.

We are dedicated to providing affordable dance training within our community, and want you to know that our doors are always open to First Time Dancers!

Kajlea Kinsey

Kajlea Kinsey began studying the art of Classical Ballet at the age of 3. Throughout the years, her dedication and passion for dance has lead her to several other opportunities within the dance community. She spent three years dancing on the Cadettes Dance Team, where she was on the choreography board and served as Captain during her final year. She has had the opportunity to participate in 30+ recitals, including the Russian Ballet's Nutcracker, The 38th Annual Holiday Bowl Halftime Show, and countless productions by Allegro School of Dance. Her training allowed her to get En Pointe, which she has spent the last ten years studying. Before beginning her current venture as Owner & Director of Greater Heights School of Dance, she served as the Primary Ballet Instructor at Heights Elite Dance Studio. She is proud to share her love of dance with others, and it is her ultimate goal to not only teach dance, but to make a difference in her students lives and provide them with valuable lessons that will benefit them inside and outside of the studio.

Courtney Mort

Master of Littles

Courtney Mort, who we lovingly refer to as the "Master of Littles" is a full-time professional beautician and part-time littles dance instructor. She served as the primary littles instructor at Heights Elite for 11 years. Her love for children and fun, spunky, energetic personality is the reason why all little people seem to love her. If anyone can get a 3-6 year old to listen and learn—it's Courtney. She teaches our youngest age groups the foundations of movement, baby tap, bitty ballet, and basic jazz.
